 Conference Program

Every two years, the Midwest Writing Center Association (MWCA) hosts a conference with the aim of encouraging communication and collaboration among writing centers in the Midwestern region. The conference provides an opportunity to share knowledge and experiences, learn from others involved in writing center work, and build community with fellow attendees.

The conference brings together administrators, faculty, staff, graduate students, and undergraduate students involved in writing centers, writing programs, and related student support services. Individuals dedicated to supporting student writing at middle schools, high schools, community colleges, and universities are welcome to attend.

The theme of this year’s conference is Promise and Practice: Tutoring Writing in Turbulent Times. See our Call for Proposals for reference.
